Sean Clayton focuses almost exclusively on fine contemporary art glass marbles with space themes. His main technique is silver fuming and his marbles seem to capture an array of color gradients unlike any of the other space glass flameworkers we have seen. Sagan Glass mentioned Clayton as one of the most underrated space glass flameworkers out there and praised his exceptional nebula pieces.
Clayton’s work is not as well known as many of the other artists we’ve featured, but his skill and the visual impact of his pieces is comparable and in many cases better than the best known artists out there. He’s a hidden gem in the space glass market and deserves to be getting more attention for his work. You can learn more about his work on his Etsy shop.
