Nathan Miers is one of the foremost and well-known talents in the glass blowing industry. He has a tremendous following and incredibly devoted collectors of his work. He’s known for functional space artwork, specifically in the fast growing 420 industry. His work is partially inspired by both tattoo and street art scenes. He says he was inspired by Clinton Roman (a local artist in his area) and furnace-worker Dante Marioni.
He’s based out of Colorado and got started working on glass in college. His pipes, bubblers, and pendants are stunningly intricate and vibrant pieces of work with a psychedelic twist.
I haven’t found a seller that consistently carries Nathan’s art, but it does seem to come up for auction or resale from time to time. Google his name and you’ll see what’s available. Prices seem to range from thousands to tens of thousands of dollars per piece.
one of my favorite collab pieces by Miers
